American Subcontractors Association of Colorado

About ASA Colorado

ASA Colorado is a member-focused organization dedicated to strengthening subcontractors and building a better construction industry throughout Colorado.

Our work is grounded in four core values:

Fair and Ethical Business Practices
We advocate for a fair construction marketplace where companies are treated equitably, contracts are transparent, and every industry partner is expected to operate with integrity.

Professional Development
We provide education, leadership development, peer learning, and meaningful connections that help our members strengthen their businesses and advance their careers.

A Safe and Healthful Work Environment
We promote workplaces that protect the physical safety, mental health, well-being, and long-term success of every person in the construction industry.

Industry Collaboration
We bring subcontractors, general contractors, professional partners, educators, and workforce leaders together to solve problems, strengthen relationships, and move the industry forward.

These values come to life through programs and events designed around the needs of our members.

Business Practices Interchange provides subcontractors with a trusted, peer-driven environment to discuss challenges, exchange ideas, and learn from one another.

Contractor Interchange creates opportunities for subcontractors and general contractors to engage in direct, productive conversations that strengthen communication and improve working relationships.

Trade Partner Connection brings together contractors, educators, students, and workforce partners to support professional development, strengthen the talent pipeline, and connect the industry with its future workforce.

Women of Construction advances mentorship, leadership, connection, and opportunity for women throughout Colorado’s construction industry.

SubStrong Business Conference gives subcontractors and industry leaders practical tools to lead smarter, build stronger companies, and prepare for the future. The conference brings together experts and peers to address leadership, finance, technology, workforce development, succession planning, and business growth.

Health & Safety Summit brings the construction community together to improve physical safety, mental health, recovery support, risk management, workforce well-being, and jobsite culture. The summit connects education with practical action to help companies create safer, healthier, and more supportive workplaces.

Across every program, event, and advocacy effort, ASA Colorado is committed to partnership, trust, collaboration, respect, and innovation. We believe meaningful progress happens when people come together, listen to one another, and work toward a stronger industry.

Together, we are building stronger businesses, stronger leaders, safer workplaces, and a stronger future for Colorado construction.
